A Small Tidbit of Useful Information for all of US

Please remember to call when you have returned home! If I do not hear from you I will conduct a drive by to assure the safety and well-being of your pets. Additional trips will be added to your bill at the regular rate. Please contact me at any hour and leave a voice or text message letting me that you have returned. THANK YOU! It's also helpful to know when you leave because It helps me schedule my day. I typically have a full agenda so to better serve everyone, it helps to know who left and when.

Additional Pet Care Assistance and Other Scheduled Services Unaffiliated With Surf Side Pet Sitting:

Surf Side Pet Sitting is not liable and is completely indemnified for any and all liability stemming from the act(s) or failure to act of third parties, whether known or unknown, including but not limited to, friends, neighbors, relatives, or other service persons who may enter your residence for any purpose while Surf Side Pet Sitting is caring for your pets. Please provide the names, phone numbers of any and all persons who may enter your home while you are away and are not connected with Surf Side Pet Sitting. I cannot be held accountable for what happens when someone else is covering a shift that I would normally have or a service person is there and fails to lock a door or close a gate, among other incidents.

This opens up a whole new realm of issues because I don't know what goes on when I'm not there and what kind of care your pets are receiving from a third party. I appreciate you taking the time to provide me with any pertinent information.

Payment is due prior to you going away unless we've made other arrangements. I'm pretty cool about working with you as far as payment is concerned.

Don't hesitate to ask questions or ask for more information. I'm easy to reach.

Pally Today

Whew! It has been a while since my last post. I've been slacking on updates and so much has been going on! This is about Pally and his progress. I don't know if I've met a more grateful dog. He has a good life now and has put on a little over 20 pounds since I brought him home from that awful place in Georgia. He doesn't have a rib showing!

Oreo just loves him and he loves her. They play often and like to lay together. Possum Cat, on the other hand, fears Pally and is mad at me for messing up our routine! Pally and I have a lot of work to do! It is going to take more time than I anticipated to teach him socialization skills and that the cats in our house aren't on the menu!

He's coming along though and he is very loved, even though he tore up one of my favorite shirts!

Rescue Mission

Rescue Mission

Rescue mission Monday. I'm headed south to the land of the Dueling Banjoes, that's right, Clayton,Ga Animal Control. Picking up a dog from that slaughterhouse. I just hope they don't kill him before I get there. After all, it is where Deliverance was filmed and Monday is kill day. I've called twice to let them know that I'm coming for him and will call again tomorrow. I've been trying to find someone to pull him for me and I'm having no luck. So here's to hoping my good karma is still in play come Monday. This dog deserves a home and our girl Oreo is so depressed without old man Blue. She's not the only one. We miss our girl Spot too. Hard year. It's time for some new life.
